LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 You've still got a virus (well, rootkit). Use GMER and Avast antivirus to get rid of it. A search would have found several other posts about that specific error.
mmalves Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Search? Where? Is it hidden? Apparently no one can find it
jabmaster2 Posted June 8, 2009 Author Posted June 8, 2009 did both they didnt find anything. what do I do now
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Try harder. Do a full scan in GMER and show us a log / picture of what it finds. Likewise, install the avast antivirus and do a full scan of your hdd in that too. Tell it to schedule a boot time scan as that should pick up on the virus before it gets a chance to cloak itself. Another tool you could try is rootrepeal - google it. Then maybe you could post your filter driver list - in ImgBurn's 'Tools' menu.
