Actually, I am having this same message trying to burn an .iso to CD-R using a CD-RW drive. The message in the notification area says something like, 'Media not present, Drive closed'. The drive recognizes the disc and type just fine, but ImgBurn doesn't seem to like it. I'll try and get the log into the post in a bit... but in the mean time, if anyone has seen this before and has some direction to share, it would be appreciated.

ImgBurn only reports what the drive is telling it. If the drive says it's not ready and that there's no media present then that's exactly what gets displayed in the status bar within ImgBurn. btw, you should have started a new thread for your problem. Only reply to someone elses if you're helping them.
