Acester Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Hey guys, here's my issue. I'm trying to make xbox 360 backups, and you know some of the backups worked fine, but now it seems like every single one of them fails.. Usually at about 50% is the failure point. Before I ever burn a backup, I run them through abgx360 as I was told to do. I also have imgburn's layerbreak set to 1913760. And I always always burn the game at 1x speed cause the slower the better. I don't have a clue, I suspect it's my drive.. But it burns any normal DVD's fine.. OH and I forgot to mention, my media is verbatim DL disks. I think that covers everything.. Okay, here's a log: I 11:53:26 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started!I 11:53:26 Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Edition (6.1, Build 7100)I 11:53:26 Total Physical Memory: 4,192,824 KB - Available: 2,686,964 KBI 11:53:26 Initialising SPTI...I 11:53:26 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...I 11:53:38 Found 1 DVD
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 These are the speeds your drive can burn MKM-003-00 at. By selecting 1x, the drive will really be using 4x as that's the lowest it supports. I 12:15:45 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-003-00) (Speeds: 4x, 6x, 8x) Obviously 4x is producing a bad burn so try 6x or 8x. Try cleaning your drive too.
