Cynthia Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Hi Jonathan and welcome to the forum! You could try to get a later firmware installed from this page. Your current one is A102. It might support those discs better. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GSA-4120B/files.html It's a rather old burner and it seems to have problems with these newer media codes. Have you been able to burn these discs with this burner before?
Fast&Furious Posted July 17, 2009 Author Posted July 17, 2009 No i havent. This is my first time burning an Xbox 360 game with Imgburn. but i've been able to burn other disc to make music
Fast&Furious Posted July 17, 2009 Author Posted July 17, 2009 i updated the firmware. now when i start the burn some error pops up.

Cynthia Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 More or less that your burner still don't like that brand. What happens if you use the A104 firmware? If that also fails - either use the media that's in the link mmalves posted or get a new burner that likes these new kind of media codes (8x rated discs).
Fast&Furious Posted July 17, 2009 Author Posted July 17, 2009 I updated the firmware to A104 and the same thing happens. It says Set L0 Data Zone Capacity Failed! Reason: Invalid Field in Parameter List what does this mean ?
Cynthia Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 In ordinary English - that it doesn't like those discs.
mmalves Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 I think getting a new burner would be the better option, even if you use Verbatim 2.4x blanks
Fast&Furious Posted July 18, 2009 Author Posted July 18, 2009 alright. im going to buy those and try them out.. if they dont work then what ?
Cynthia Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Then it's time to write a letter to Santa and tell him that you want a new burner for Christmas.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 You should get a new drive anyway, then you'll have more choices where media is concerned.
Fast&Furious Posted August 3, 2009 Author Posted August 3, 2009 yeah. im back again. i bought dvd+r dl disc and it still wont work for some reason. help please.
