I 08:01:10 Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition (6.0, Build 6001 : Service Pack 1) I 08:01:10 Total Physical Memory: 776.920 KB - Available: 239.340 KB I 08:01:10 Initialising SPTI... It doesn't have a firmware version we have listed on firmwarehq.com It's quite an old drive now, maybe it's just not so great on the newer 8x Verbs? Have you tried a cleaning disc in the drive? Have you tried burning at the other supported speed - i.e. 4x? You might have more luck with the 2.4x Verbs (MKM-001-00 dye). Failing that, buy a new drive. I tried it on 4x now it says Set L0 Data Zone Capacity Failed! Reason: Power Calibration Area Error And what do you mean with cleaning disc in the drive?
