LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 What type of machine (brand/make) did that drive come in? It doesn't have a firmware version we have listed on firmwarehq.com It's quite an old drive now, maybe it's just not so great on the newer 8x Verbs? Have you tried a cleaning disc in the drive? Have you tried burning at the other supported speed - i.e. 4x? You might have more luck with the 2.4x Verbs (MKM-001-00 dye). Failing that, buy a new drive.

I tried it on 4x now it says Set L0 Data Zone Capacity Failed! Reason: Power Calibration Area Error And what do you mean with cleaning disc in the drive? Here the log: I 21:16:24 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 What I mean is: Have you tried cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc? If you can't find MKM-001-00 anywhere (and cleaning the drive doesn't fix anything), buy a new drive.
