zugoff Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 IMG burn will not burn DVD disks, it will only burn CD disks. Heres the info... Im using windows xp 03, this computer has a DVD burner, im using memorex DVD-Rs. I Don't know whats wrong. Im trying to burn vista (ISO) to a dvd so I can have an operating system on my laptop. Thank you Cynthia. 1 question, is it possible to write an ISO to 2 diferent CD disks? I tried it before, by ejecting the disk when it got to 70% and putting a new one in, but the new one wouldnt run. It can read/write CD's (hence the 'CD-RW' bit in the device scan log entry) but it can only read DVD's (hence the 'DVD-ROM' bit in the device scan log entry). What you can do - if it's just some ordinary data files is to split the ISO with a program such as www.7-zip.org and then use the build mode to build new ISOs that could fit on a ISO image sized for CD discs.
