I 11:53:28 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 2)

I 11:53:28 Total Physical Memory: 1,047,784 KB - Available: 527,820 KB

I 11:53:28 Initialising SPTI...

I 11:53:28 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...

I 11:53:28 Found 1 DVD-ROM/CD-RW!

, I then put the DVD-R in, in runs for about 30 seconds, then at the bottom left of IMGBURN, it says "device not ready (cannot read medium - unknown format)"

Thats probably the problem, its an older laptop, but I just got it, so I dont know much about it. Thank you Cynthia. 1 question, is it possible to write an ISO to 2 diferent CD disks? I tried it before, by ejecting the disk when it got to 70% and putting a new one in, but the new one wouldnt run. Thanks for your advice.

Yes, 'discs' being CD's and NOT DVD's.

It can read/write CD's (hence the 'CD-RW' bit in the device scan log entry) but it can only read DVD's (hence the 'DVD-ROM' bit in the device scan log entry).

No, one ISO per disc.

What you can do - if it's just some ordinary data files is to split the ISO with a program such as www.7-zip.org and then use the build mode to build new ISOs that could fit on a ISO image sized for CD discs.
