Evilz Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 I am trying to backup my wii games, dont worry they get scrubbed before burned so no copy protection. Now for a while now I've been using Imgburn to burn literally everything. I have also been using the same DVD-R's (same manufacturer). I also have been using Imgburn v2.5.0.0. It is only until recently i have discovered an error on every disc I burn now. The only thing thats different is I just got another batch of DVD-R's from my basement because I bought 2 can's of dvd-r's same manufacturer and same blank dvd's. Now ever since I have gotten that batch from my basement I have been receiving this error every time i verify a disc now: ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 - Log ; Monday, 24 August 2009, 23:00:25 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 22:00:13 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Update the firmware on your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/SH-S182D/files.html Try burning at all the 'supported' write speeds. Clean the drive with a lens cleaning disc If all else fails, buy some better discs - you'd do well to do that anyway.
