Creating DVD's from AVI files?

I'm a newbie with regard to burning discs. I was wondering if it's possible to create DVD discs from AVI files?

DVD Video discs that'll play in *any* DVD player?

 

Not with ImgBurn there isn't, it doesn't convert video files.

 

Use DVD Flick to do the conversion and then have it burn the result with ImgBurn.

 

Alternatively, try ConvertXtoDVD.
