LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 That's what happen when you download things. If it says the file isn't valid then it's not valid. Be thankful that it told you.
Jundaba Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 It was recommended by everyone at the private site I am with, but no one there has run into this yet. Since they all download from there, there must be another problem. I can't even burn an image, nevermind burn it to a DVD. Anyone else have a suggestion on how to fix this?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 You have an invalid IFO file, how you deal with that is beyond the scope of that forum. ImgBurn expects you to have a compliant set of DVD Video files and so basically you're out of luck until you fix the problem. FYI: My test for a valid IFO file simply checks that the file contains the correct header - because it then has to update certain fields in the file so it points to the correct sectors when playing what you know as VOB files.
blutach Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 If you DO own the DVD as you claim, re-rip from the original. Why would anyone download a DVD that they already owned? (Please insert fishy emoticon) Regards
