copy dvd to usb memory stick

Win XP, ImgBurn ver 2.5.0

 

My dvd player has usb port and i can play avi and such files from the usb memory stick. I don't want to convert dvd to avi or mpeg, I wonder if I can copy dvd to the stick ? I mean complete dvd image to the usb stick? do I need to format the memory stick with CDFS format for that?

Any idea would be appreciated.

I doubt it.

 

It might play a vob file if you're lucky but you won't get menus and it'll be luck of the draw if you get the correct audio stream - same as if you try to play a single vob file with any player on the pc.

 

This is just something you'd do in Explorer, you don't need ImgBurn for it (and ImgBurn wouldn't do it anyway).
