People withoute admin rigths can not burn CD-DVD, they can not view CD-DVD unit. Destination --> No Writers Detected! LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 7, 2009 Share Posted September 7, 2009 That doesn't look like an admin permissions problem - otherwise it wouldn't show the other drives. Something else is using the drive and preventing ImgBurn from using it. Perhaps you've got some packet writing software (or similar) installed? I run ImgBurn with admin and I dont have proble, other user with no admin access cant not burn. All users in my domain have Power Users. If it is not problem of permisions, what is? LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 7, 2009 Share Posted September 7, 2009 Like I said, if you can see any drive at all then permissions are not (in my experience anyway) the problem. You must have some other bit of software installed that's blocking access to the drive... and I don't mean Windows itself. Can you think of any other software you have install that could be causing it? Any other software to do with burning or drives in general? Have you tried the Nero Burnrights stuff mentioned in the FAQ? Failing that, use a different I/O interface - like I said, your options are all in the FAQ if you read it.
