The discs i have been using have worked flawlessly ive only coastered 2-3 and those were my fault for applying an incorrect setting so i really dont think its then discs im using.
spinningwheel Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 really dont think its then discs im using Disc material is a major player in the field of burning data. Yours are not all that good, as mmalves suggests, and maybe you should give THIS another read.
Defender0802 Posted September 23, 2009 Author Posted September 23, 2009 I found the issue was that the layer break wasnt set correctly and now that it is it worked perfectly. As for the media i have used verbatim, memorex (not to good) and TDK (ritek i believe) and so far the TDK discs have worked as well as the verbatims ive used but i only bought them because they were $20 on sale.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 The layer break was fine, had nothing to do with your 'write error' and you shouldn't have touched it.
Defender0802 Posted September 24, 2009 Author Posted September 24, 2009 If thats the case i guess it was a workaround to the real issue. I also unrared the file again so it could have been a bad unzip.
