MrBlonde Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Hi, having problems all around trying to get this to work. Currently have issues with trying to burn on both my desktop and my laptop. On my desktop i can't even start to burn because the write button won't become active. I think that has to do with me needing a firmware update but i can't seem to find one for my player (Sony dvd rw dw-u18a). Below is my log for a burn i tried to do for my laptop. Also imgburn wouldn't close once the burn failed at the end after it was finalising the disk. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. -Log- I 19:52:31 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 All you can really do with that is try cleaning the drive and looking for firmware updates (via 'Tools -> Drive -> Check for firmware updates' or Googling 'SDW-082 firmware'). If all else fails, buy a new drive (external if it's for your laptop I guess).
