ssmehta007
I have movie that I have downloaded and it is in AVI format, but for some reason when I am building or writing the file..it doesn't receognize AVI files. Is there is fix or do I have to change the AVI format to ISO?
Cynthia
Hi and welcome to the forum, ssmehta007! Shouldn't be any problems to add .avi files in the build mode. You are in Build mode when you add it? What error message do you get? Changing the .avi to .iso is the same as you wrote banana on an apple. It's still an apple. The .avi is not an image file and that's why you can't use the write mode. If you are going to play the .avi on a regular DVD player that can't play .avi files - you need to convert the file(s) first with a program such as DVD Flick. LIGHTNING UK!
Try this firmware update. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GWA-4083B/files.html Failing that, buy some better discs and/or a new drive.
