Option to automaticly set book type to DVD+-R

Imgburn is awesome But for some reason when i start it or insert new dvd it locks up, Im not real sure why but it always does it at Getting physical disk information ( last recorded) or at Getting book Type. What i suspect is that the Command 'get format capacities' Returns invalid disk size or information. I was wondering if Imgburn could have an option to Bypass this and automaticly set book type at DVD-+R. Im pretty sure that Nero does this because i have far less problems trying to use nero to burn images. But i hate nero, Its large size makes it slower and Bloatware sux.

It already automatically does the booktype to DVD-ROM for most drives.

 

If your drive locks up when ImgBurn tries to send it a command then you probably need a firmware update or a new drive!
