ps228
I normally don't use the EZ-Mode Picker start-up and was startled to see the status bar with references to alphabits and interviews after running the upgrade. Has 2.5.0.0 been hacked? Since I'm trying to fight the dumbing-down brainwashing that my kids are getting in school, I'm not pleased to see coarse language used in a program they will be using frequently. ( It's also not something that the HR/PC police in clients offices would tolerate, even on my own laptop.) Is there a way to suppress or change the message? Thanks, Concerned Parent/ IT Professional/
mmalves
Tools -> Settings -> Don't Show Status Bar Messages By the way those are just quotes from movies/tv shows/etc.
ps228
Tools -> Settings -> Don't Show Status Bar Messages By the way those are just quotes from movies/tv shows/etc. Does that disable the status bar when reading or writing? If my kids were older, or my clients more tolerant, the quote might be more acceptable. But when its so hard to find contracts, that particular quote is counter-productive. mmalves
That option only applies to the Ez-Mode Picker screen.
LIGHTNING UK!
You can make up your own message if you like, there are just 80 or so default ones that it'll pick 1 from at random to display when the program starts.

Cynthia
Create a file named StatusBarMessages.txt and put it in the program map (C:\Program Files\ImgBurn) of ImgBurn. One text message on each row.
