stoneymcpuff Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Please someone help me. I use DVD Flick to convert a .avi file so I can burn it with image burn, and it looks like it burns ok. But when I try to load the dvd in my player it just sticks at loading and keeps trying to load. Any help on this matter would be great.
Cynthia Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Hi and welcome to the forum, stoneymcpuff! Can you post the log file from that burn? You'll find it here: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
stoneymcpuff Posted September 27, 2009 Author Posted September 27, 2009 I tried that after reading off of another post but when I open the log file all it shows is where I open and close img burn it doesnt show the actual burn log, so what I did was put the disc back in my computer and I'll paste what it shows from there. Hopefully that helps. Cynthia Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Sorry, forgot that you used DVD Flick. The burning log should be located in the folder you selcted as 'project destination folder' (the name in the lower left corner of DVD Flick - when you run the program). Look for a file named: imgburn_write.txt in that folder.

Cynthia Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 According to the log it never burned anything to the disc. Instead it saved an image file to your hard disk. I 00:01:05 Destination File: I:\District 9.iso This file you need to burn with ImgBurn in Write mode to the disc.
stoneymcpuff Posted September 27, 2009 Author Posted September 27, 2009 Sorry, I'm completely new to this program. so I used DVD Flick to convert again and when it finished and loaded img burn I switched the "mode" to write but now I have no idea how to burn what I just converted. It wants me to browse folders for a file but the designated location I have for my converted DVD Flick file only has two empty folders. Any clues?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 This is the file you need to load :- I 00:01:05 Destination File: I:\District 9.iso If it's not there then you need to convert it all again.
Cynthia Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Or in the future - in DVD Flick -> Project Settings -> Burning -> Check mark the option 'Burn project to disc'.
