Hainz Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Hi. I am having problems with writing a Xbox 360 game. I have never had this problem and i have written about 10 games. Now i have wasted 3 discs for this. I am using Verbatim 8x discs btw. I would appreciate if anyone could help. I have tried with different speeds too. So here is one of my logs: I 20:28:55 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! I 20:28:55 Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition (6.0, Build 6001 : Service Pack 1) I 20:28:55 Total Physical Memory: 3

Try a lens cleaning disc on that drive, and if it still doesn't work, then you may want to get the 2.4x Verbatim blanks or a new (external) burner

It got to 50% but then gave me an error. I used a 8x Verbatim disc. Here is the log: I 20:46:08 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! Hainz Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 Well, the lens cleaning disc didnt work. Another disc wasted. I was wondering that could the problem be with the file(iso). Maybe i should try burning another game?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Nope, what you're burning doesn't even come into it. If your drive produces nothing but coasters, get a new (normal size, not slim) drive.
Hainz Posted October 6, 2009 Author Posted October 6, 2009 Hey. I tried to burn another game and it worked! No errors and everything. Im not sure what was wrong before but what the heck. So thanks to everyone who tried to help.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 You're just getting hit and miss burns. Maybe you have an iffy spindle of discs - or it's the drive like I said above. Give it a few more goes with the cleaning disc too.
