Help please, ive already made 2 costers an i cant quite figure out where im going wrong. Im having issues getting the disk to finalise when making Backup XBOX 360 games.

 

I 08:31:53 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started!

Hi and welcome to the forum, cwilliams! :)

 

You have one write speed to try with and that one is already used. I also tried to find an updated firmware, but no luck.

 

Your only option is to use another brand of media.

 

The Program Memory Area Update Failure error, is it only with this burn or you have managed to burn with these discs before?

thanks for the welcome, this is actually the first try, also the only burner i have and yep the drive firmware is MIA

You have something else to burn? That error can one some other drives be related to the size of the image.

well i have cleaned the laser and tried a different backup looks like the same issue to me.

what do you guys think about these? i only ask because there 6x vs the 2.4x my drive will only do 2.5x anyway

 

Verbatim - 6x DVD+R DL Double-Layer Disc

 

hoping to get these local for a try.

Which speeds have you tried? Is it always the same error? Have you tried with Verbatim blanks?

tried 6x, aws, max. dont have the verbatims but i guess thats next unless someone can think of something else. after i got the burner it made 4 perfect that was a few days ago. then today noda

Then you got a batch of really crap discs because Pioneer burners can burn pretty much anything you throw at them.

 

On another note it would be useful if you could try burning on another computer, just to rule out a communication problem between the burner and the computer.
