I'm in Imgburn and I have the image loaded ready to burn to the drive, NEC AD-7200A, however when I go to burn it the write option is greyed out and it says 'disc not empty' at the bottom. LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 7, 2009 Share Posted October 7, 2009 Did you test all discs before? As in original CD's, DVD's as well as blank / previously burnt CD's and DVD's. And they all do the same thing? Do you have any bootable discs at all? like an OS installation one? SteCFC1 Posted October 7, 2009 Author Share Posted October 7, 2009 I tried a CD in the drive and no details were shown, then the drive disappeared from the list of drives available. I uninstalled the drive to see if it helped and now the driver for my writer cannot find the actual writer in my computer, meaning I can't reinstall the writer.
