dragnwolf33 Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I burned a .iso file with dts sound format. When i put disc in player there is no sound even if i put the disc in the computer. But watching the file itself on my computer there is sound. What could be the problem???? Please help
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Try pressing the 'Audio' button on your remote. Depending on your setup, the player needs to support DTS downmixing (like to 2.0 format - i.e. 2 TV speakers) unless it is just passing it through to an amp - when then needs to support DTS (decoding?) itself. For the PC stuff, I guess that's a software issue. What do you use for playback? This is 100% an issue with your source or playback device - i.e. it's nothing to do with ImgBurn.

I use the dvd player that came with the system. I have a toshiba laptop. Is there a way to re-code the sound? Ok i just tried playing the dvd with VLC media player and it plays fine.
