mmalves Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I 20:26:34 Destination Media Type: DVD+R (Disc ID: VDSPMSAB-002-01) (Speeds: 2x, 4x) Your burner is old and doesn't like the media you're using. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks (preferably the 8x ones).
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 ... now there's a MID I've never seen before! What's the brand name on those little beauties, what speed are they rated for, how much were they and for how many?
mmalves Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I've seen similar MID with EMTEC and Nipponic DVD-R blanks over here, both rated 8x and they're some of the cheapest crap you can buy, if that helps

LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Possibly, do you already have some of those? Drives are cheap now, you'd do well to buy a new one anyway.... then you'd be able to burn DVD-R media too!
