heyitslujan Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Alright, so my name is Anthony and I am in fact a newbie with all of this so ANY help is much appreciated. I'm using IMGBurn to burn my 360 games and everytime I am going through the burn process it stops working. I've upgraded my DVD DL's to Verbatim and it's still failing. I've been through several tutorials and the only thing that I can't do is change my "Book type". When I change it to "Lite-On" I get the following under Current Setting: "Unknown: (FAILED!) Reason: Invalid Command Operation Code I can't seem to figure this out. Here's the log I 21:57:04 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 An I/O Error isn't a crash, it's ImgBurn's way of saying your drive errored out - it's not anything to do with the program really. 'TSSTcorp' is Samsung... not really sure why you're attempting to use the LiteOn booktype stuff - that's never gonna work! In any case, ImgBurn already booktypes to DVD-ROM on TSSTcorp drives automatically, you don't need to do anything. Try burning at 6x or 8x - note that 2x as you've selected isn't even a supported write speed, only 4x, 6x and 8x are so your drive would use 4x anyway as it's the closest one. You might also like to try a cleaning disc in that drive.

Cynthia Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Did you try with a cleaning disc? Might be that the burner is going south.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Don't forget about 8x speed, they are 8x discs after all. You've got to at least try all the options
