jgt246 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I'm trying to burn an .ISO image for Windows 7 onto a DVD. The write operation appears to proceed normally, and at the end the log says "Operation completed successfully"; the jaunty little jingle plays. But when I go to verify the disc, it shows the status as Empty, and Explorer shows the same thing. I've tried this with multiple blank discs and after rebooting the PC. The result is always the same. I feel like I must be missing something utterly obvious. What is this newbie doing wrong? (I read the guides and the faq and searched the forums; no joy.) My DVD burner is a SONY DVD+-RW DW-Q58A UDS2 (ATA) and I'm using TDK 1~8 speed DVD-Rs made by TY. Here's the log for the write operation: ========================================= I 15:56:59 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started!
