Hello ... All the ISO, DVD5, Movie files, written by ImgBurn on Asus DRW-2014S1, all of them have bad playback.. meaning that the movie stops playing or the image gets squared. Can it be a problem of hardware acceleration?

My system conf is Intel celeron, 2.5Gh, 775 socket, with an S3 onboard video card and 3Gb DDR2, Asus DRW-2014S1

running XP

thank u very much

Try burning at 8x and leave Verify enabled, or else you'll never know if it was a good burn or not. What's the brand of those blanks?

Blanks are Datamaxx 4.7GB, DVD-R and it looks that all of them have that problem since Ive replaced my computer. Before my current PC, Ive wrote lots of movies on Datamax with ImgBurn that runs perfectly. My previous system was an Pentium Dual Core with nvidia 9500GT and 2GB DDR.

PS

sorry for my bad english

It's important that you verify your burns - especially when you know you're having issues.

When the cheapo companies stick their brand name on the TY discs it's usually because they're not up to the normal TY high standards and so Verbatim / Taiyo Yuden reject them.

If the discs aren't as good as they should be, the drives firmware may have problems coping with them based in how it expects them to perform and how they actually perform.

You're lucky that one plays at all, the file systems are wrong for a DVD Video disc. It should be 'ISO9660 + UDF' (UDF v1.02), not 'ISO9660 + Joliet'.

Still, that's what you get for using PowerISO I guess.
