Error backing up xbox game

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Having trouble backing up a xbox game, this is what I'we done

using Verbatim DVD+R DL. 8,5

IMGburn, burning at speed speed 8x

Pioneer DVD-RW Dvr 116D (latest firmware)

I sometimes get this error doing backups, and I realy wan't to know why and of course what can be done to solve this.

when burning, the "OhhoooNoo" happens just after a few percents in to the burning (2 or 3) and i get a "Failed to write Sectors..." error. I have tried to burn at the recomended speed at 2.4 but that has NEVER worked. The 8x speed on the 8,5 disc however have.

Grateful for any help i can get on the subject, i realize that there might be an error connected to my burner or the disc or any other hardware releated stuff, but the thing is that some games can be burned.

thanks

/Moxiica

Hi and welcome to the forum, Moxiica! :)

Any special reason for not using the default setting:

I 20:26:07 Write Type: Incremental

I have the 216 model and 6x is giving me the best results with that media.

Thanks Cynthia.

And a good question regarding the default settings, the only reason that i remember is that i probably tried to solve this problem with the help of google or some other forum.

anyway restored to default settings, and burned at speed 6x: that did however not solve it... same problem. adding that log.
