IMG Freezes in Windows 7

I use windows 7 and IMG has a mind of it's own. When i start img it hangs on "Getting Disc Management......" and ican't get it to shut either. Please help with a solution. Thanks.

Look for win7 drivers for your motherboard's chipset and/or storage controller(s). Use SIW to find their brand/model if you don't know them.

 

Also post your Filter Driver Load Order (look in ImgBurn's Tools menu).

Ejecting the disc should get around this issue.

 

Of course it'll probably just happen again when you reinsert it.

 

Is the firmware on the drive up-to-date?

 

Are you using decent media?
