nitin
hello, I get the stated error when trying to burn a new stack of dual layer media I bought. Previously I used dvd+r dl but this time the store was out of stock and I got dvd-r dl. I had no idea there was a difference because this error never came up with dvd+r media. Is there a workaround? If I continue and ignore this error, I get a disc that freezes at the layer break. cheers, nitin
mmalves
That's how the standard was designed to be and there's no way around

nitin
Return them for a refund and go elsewhere (or order online). so is there anything I can use this media for at all? And if I may ask, why was the standard designed like this?
