nitin Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 hello, I get the stated error when trying to burn a new stack of dual layer media I bought. Previously I used dvd+r dl but this time the store was out of stock and I got dvd-r dl. I had no idea there was a difference because this error never came up with dvd+r media. Is there a workaround? If I continue and ignore this error, I get a disc that freezes at the layer break. cheers, nitin
mmalves Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 That's how the standard was designed to be and there's no way around

nitin Posted November 24, 2009 Author Posted November 24, 2009 Return them for a refund and go elsewhere (or order online). so is there anything I can use this media for at all? And if I may ask, why was the standard designed like this?
