vouslavous Posted November 29, 2009 Share Posted November 29, 2009 hi all, im trying to make a windows 7 disk to install on a new hardrive the brand of disk im using is a magnavox DVD-R i hit write image file to disk, select the windows7 iso after a bit at the bottom left of the window the little message says Device Not Ready (Medium Not Present) i dont think it is an img burn problem only as roxio and other programs seem to not realize there is a disk in the tray what do i need to do to fix this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not DVDs. ahhh ok so its just the tray then, atleast i do have another computer and it says on the tray "dvd-r RW" does that mean it can burn?
