gwai Posted December 1, 2009 Share Posted December 1, 2009 Problem: - ImgBurn stuck in verifying phase (25% complete) - see attached image of the stuck stage and the log file Operation: - attempt to burn DVD to create Window setup disk based on instruction given in: http://www.howtohaven.com/system/createwindowssetupdisk.shtml - the burn phase complete, then it went into verifying phase - ImgBurn stuck, after stuck: - click on the RED button let it continue to: Waiting for Read Thead (Device).. state - here the RED button no longer works - need to reboot windows to get the disk out Environment: - ImgBurn 2.5.0.0 - Window Vista Home Premium(service pack 1) - Dell Studio 1737 laptop The disk burned seems to be good (I can boot from it to install Window).
