Helix512 Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I am burnign a DVD -R and i told the drive to burn it at 2x But when its burning i can see this: Write rate: 5,551 (4.0x) Doe this mean that it ignored me when i told it to write at 2? If so how do i force it to write the speed i want?
mmalves Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 You can't force the drive to burn at a speed it doesn't support: it'll simply use the closest available write speed.
Helix512 Posted January 4, 2010 Author Posted January 4, 2010 OK back to this topic again. I have a second burning that will do 2.4x and it even shows 2.4x when you look at the info in imgburn, but imgburn is still making it go 4x even if i have it set to burn at 2.4x. now any other ideas?
