Sado0og Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 (edited) i have HP notebook with CD rom HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T50L SCSI CdRom Device the hardware ID is: SCSI\CdRomHL-DT-STDVDRAM_GSA-T50L_SC05SCSI\CdRomHL-DT-STDVDRAM_GSA-T50L_ SCSI\CdRomHL-DT-ST SCSI\HL-DT-STDVDRAM_GSA-T50L_S HL-DT-STDVDRAM_GSA-T50L_S GenCdRom and the problem is that computer suppliers only provides two kind of DVD... Verbatim DVD+R DL (very good in xbox360 games) and Imation DVD+R DL (very bad for xbox360 games) my verbatim model is MKM-003 X8 (the newer one) each time i try to burn a game it failed i try to book my DVD type....but imgburn doesn't book mine it says failed what should i do Edited December 16, 2009 by Sado0og

mmalves Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Try burning at 4x or 6x. If that doesn't work then try cleaning the burner with a cleaning disc.

mmalves Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 A few years ago that could be true, but newer burners like yours are better tuned for faster burns, not to mention those MKM-003-00 Verbatim blanks are rated for 8x burning. You could try with the 2.4x Verbatim blanks if you can find them.
