Blackranger Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 (edited) I would like to ask a basic question before I ask a deeper one. Now I have these 2 files: 1: "video.avi" 2: "video.srt" My comp has installed codec sw (K-Lite), so I can watch "video.avi" with subtitles (from "video.srt"). Question: How can I burn them into a DVD+RW with ImgBurn? How and by which method? P.S.: I must have the DVD compatible with PS3 player. According to the question above: If the only way OR one of the ways I can do is to simply burn the 2 files into DVD by using "write folder to disc", may I include >1 AVI with >1 SRT files? Maybe I give an example (doesn't mean I own them): In the DVD, we have 1: carracing2010.avi 2: carracing2010.srt 3: UglyBetty.avi 4: UglyBetty.srt 5: Xfile.avi 6: Xfile.srt (Here're totally 3 videos with their subtitles) My thought (if the only way OR one of the ways I can do is to simply burn the 2 files into DVD by using "write folder to disc"): As the name of the other AVI with SRT are different (e.g. video2.avi + video2.srt, video3.avi + video3.srt, XXX.avi + XXX.srt, etc), I think PS3 player can play specified AVI with specified SRT. Thanks for answering. Any comments are appreciated. Edited January 11, 2010 by Blackranger
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Why not just burn a disc exactly as you described above and see if it works? You probably could have done it in the time it took you to write that post We deal with burning in general, not burning so X files work in Y player... there are better places to get that kind of info.
