mtemp Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Hello, I burned a DVD-video (ISO9660 + UDF) by following this instructions: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=4632 And -- wow -- in contrast to my attempts with CDBurnerXP and InfraRec the DVD is recognized by my (external) DVD player. In this DVD project and on the DVD I have a additional data folder with files up to 50 characters. These files seems to be correct, I can open/read them on my PC -- but do I really not need to set up specific options e.g. in one of these tabs? Thanks! carlos
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 UDF can handle long filenames just fine as standard. All you'd have to watch out for is the use of unicode characters in those filenames which would normally be lost when making a DVD Video discs - because Unicode is turned off for such discs unless you mess with the options shown in the picture on the right in your post.
