peter1275 Posted January 14, 2010 Share Posted January 14, 2010 (edited) Dear people, I try to understand that a 1080p.BluRay.x264 (MKV) file play on PC with a playback program that is consistently high quality. But you burn it with Imgburn BD-video option and then you go play it on your Blu-ray player, then there is quality but you see true the movie a small like blocks true the hole movie constant. Thats weird, what do i wrong? Someone understands my problem? Exuse me for my language. 'm Curious what you think, Peter. You're lucky it plays MKV files at all, I bet that's not a common feature. ImgBurn burns the file 'as-is' (i.e. so the file on the disc is identical to the one on your hard drive). People, you have made a point about things your both telling me, ive have looked up the specifications from bij BD-player BDP9100 (Philips)and this what they say about the MKV-files for my Blu-ray player bdp9100 (Philips), ive have translate it and i dont have take the time to changes the language problems in it, but you understand it. Solution: Image: MKV files (Matroska) files can only be played if they meet the standard specification of the H.264 profile. Your files have the profile "Main Profile" (Main Profile) or "High Profile" (high profile), other sections may not be supported by this player. Make sure your files do not exceed the standard level. This player supports up to 3.2 for the standard level "Main Profile' files (Main Profile) and up to 4.1 for" High Profile' files (high profile) with a maximum bitrate of 20 Mbit / s. Make sure that the number of reference frames in the number of the standard level is: If your movie file a resolution of 1920 x 1080, may not exceed four (reference) frames have. If your movie file a resolution of 1280 x 720, may not exceed nine (reference) frames have. If the resolution of your movie file is lower than the standard definition (720 x 576), should take no more than eleven (reference) frames have. Best, I do not know how Imgburn an MPEG file can play on my blu-ray player (BDP 9100 Philips) because he says he does not recognize the video format. LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 If your MKV was supported by the player properly then it would already work. You can only burn them in Build mode and there are no special tricks to it. Find a forum that deals with playback for your standalone player and ask for help there.
