peter1275 Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 (edited) Dear people, I try to understand that a 1080p.BluRay.x264 (MKV) file play on PC with a playback program that is consistently high quality. But you burn it with Imgburn BD-video option and then you go play it on your Blu-ray player, then there is quality but you see true the movie a small like blocks true the hole movie constant. Thats weird, what do i wrong? Someone understands my problem? Exuse me for my language. 'm Curious what you think, Peter. Edited January 14, 2010 by peter1275

mmalves Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Did you convert your MKV to BD Video using some other program? If you did then you should look into that other program because ImgBurn burns stuff as it is, i.e. nothing is changed.

And my Blu-ray player (Philips bdp9100) plays standart mkv files whit out any problem. I dont understand this problem, Peter
mmalves Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Then please post the log from when you burned that disc (look in ImgBurn's Help menu). Have you looked in the manual of your Philips BDP9100? Or asking in other forums where there are people with that same player?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I would guess that the MKV doesn't comply with the strict format the player wants them to be in. You're lucky it plays MKV files at all, I bet that's not a common feature. ImgBurn burns the file 'as-is' (i.e. so the file on the disc is identical to the one on your hard drive). If the player has a problem with it then the issue is with the source file and nothing to do with ImgBurn.

People, you have made a point about things your both telling me, ive have looked up the specifications from bij BD-player BDP9100 (Philips)and this what they say about the MKV-files for my Blu-ray player bdp9100 (Philips), ive have translate it and i dont have take the time to changes the language problems in it, but you understand it. Ask; Philips BDP9100 Why can some MKV files (Matroska) files not playing? Answer Problem: There is a warning that the picture or the sound is not supported. Solution: Image: MKV files (Matroska) files can only be played if they meet the standard specification of the H.264 profile. Your files have the profile "Main Profile" (Main Profile) or "High Profile" (high profile), other sections may not be supported by this player. Make sure your files do not exceed the standard level. This player supports up to 3.2 for the standard level "Main Profile' files (Main Profile) and up to 4.1 for" High Profile' files (high profile) with a maximum bitrate of 20 Mbit / s. Make sure that the number of reference frames in the number of the standard level is: If your movie file a resolution of 1920 x 1080, may not exceed four (reference) frames have. If your movie file a resolution of 1280 x 720, may not exceed nine (reference) frames have. If the resolution of your movie file is lower than the standard definition (720 x 576), should take no more than eleven (reference) frames have. Sound: This player only supports the following movie files into MKV (Matroska) files integrated audio formats: mp2 mp3 ac-3 dts and this is a lot of infomation for me about the standart etc. but also a lesson ahead thank you both and i love your sugestions thanks Peter (Haarlem, the Netherlands). Best, I do not know how Imgburn an MPEG file can play on my blu-ray player (BDP 9100 Philips) because he says he does not recognize the video format. These are the specifications of my blu-ray player (see below) Video Playback Playback Media BD-Video, 2.0 BD-R/RE, DVD, DVD-Video, DVD R / RW, DVD-R/-RW, DivX, Video CD, CD, CD-R/CD-RW, USB Flash Drive Compression formats H.264, VC-1, MPEG2, DivX Ultra, AVCHD, WMV, XviD. and then it belongs to the description of my blu-ray player which I do not understand very much, Mkv (Matroska) files can only be played when the H.264 standard specification of the profile to meet. Your files have the profile "Main Profile" (Main Profile) or "High Profile" (high profile), other sections are not supported by this player. Make sure your files are larger than the normal level. This player supports up to 3.2 for the standard level "Main Profile" files (Main Profile) and 4.1 for "High Profile files" (high profile) with a maximum bitrate of 20 Mbit / s. Make sure that the number of reference frames in the number of the standard level: If your movie resolution of 1920 x 1080 file, may not exceed four (reference) frames. If you film a resolution of 1280 x 720 file, no more than nine (reference) frames. If the resolution of your movie file is lower than the standard definition (720 x 576), should take no more than eleven (reference) frames. Sound: This player only supports the following movie files into MKV (Matroska) files Integrated audio formats: mp2 mp3 AC-3 dts I just want to know how I can play MPEG file with Imgburn Thanks Peter
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 If your MKV was supported by the player properly then it would already work. You can only burn them in Build mode and there are no special tricks to it. Find a forum that deals with playback for your standalone player and ask for help there. Your issue is not to do with ImgBurn/burning and that's all we deal with.
