For starters, 2.4x isn't even supported! (So 4x would have been used - leaving you to try 6x, 8x and 10x)

You could also try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc.

 

Failing that, you could try with the 2.4x verbs (MKM-001-00 dye) or just a different spindle of the MKM-003-00 ones.

 

Last resort is buying another drive.
