darklyx
Hi there I started a full erase of a Sony BD-RE 50 6 hours ago, but imgburn is stuck at 40% since last 3 hours. Is this normal? How long it actually takes to erase a BD? Can I eventually stop it? Thx. Edited January 22, 2010 by darklyx
mmalves
We've seen it take 4-5 hours, but it shouldn't have stuck at 40%. What does it say in the status bar? Also please copy and paste here the contents of the Log window.

LIGHTNING UK!
It can take an hour or two for the drive to format the disc, then another couple for ImgBurn to write zeroes to all the sectors. Yours just appears to have choked on the media you're using. You'll probably have to force a power down by pressing the power button for 5 seconds. Use Verbatim media wherever possible.
