spoole76 Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 (edited) Hi Guys, Been using Imgburn for a while now and is great. I'm having a real problem with a Data DVD though. I only want to burn a couple of mpeg2 files as data so that I can send to a customer. Everything seems to work OK but the created DVD will only work on my PC. I have tried a dozen computers at work and none of them show the files on the disc ? Do I need to use special settings ? Any help would be appreciated as I thought this would be a simple task. spoole76 Posted January 25, 2010 Author Posted January 25, 2010 Post the log of that burn (previous logs can be found in ImgBurn's Help menu). I've added the log, sorry. Steve
mmalves Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 I 15:56:57 Source File File System(s): UDF (2.50)I 15:56:57 Destination Device: [3:0:0] HL-DT-ST BD-RE GGW-H20L YL04 (D:) (ATA) You've used UDF 2.50 filesystem, which is natively supported only by Vista, Windows 7 and newer OSs. Burn it again and, this time, use the default UDF 1.02 filesystem, since that's the most compatible version that even Windows 98 can read By the way, there's newer firmware available for your burner.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Don't burn at MAX speed either. Verify your burns to double check everything went ok - especially if the disc is going to someone else.
