carl606 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Hello there guys. I was just looking at this artical, http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=1778 As i was going to create ISO images of my recovery disks, just as a backup copy, someone had told me about this artical, but i am not sure on a couple of things, as i am just learning about "imgburm" and how the program works. (IE. "firstly make sure your VOB , IFO, and BUP files are in a folder called VIDEO_TS , i haven't a clue what this is about, and i don't even know what a "single layer ISO is.. But as a newbie to imgburn, i am willing to learn how you would do this artical, if i new a little bit more about it and what it means.....
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Where/What are your 'recovery discs' at the moment? Are they actual CD/DVD's or are they stored somewhere on your computer? If they're CD/DVDs then you want this guide - http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6379 I've renamed the one you looked at before, it's purely for DVD Video.
carl606 Posted February 12, 2010 Author Posted February 12, 2010 Where/What are your 'recovery discs' at the moment? Are they actual CD/DVD's or are they stored somewhere on your computer? Hello lighting uk They are the two DVD recovery disks used to reinstall the Vista OS , i have already created the disks last year, and i thought it would be a good idea to create ISO images of these, just as a second backup and put these on my other computer As i say i was going to create ISO images of these, and someone had given me a link to this topic. My original question , on another forum was is it ok to create ISO images of your vista recovery disks,as i really wasen't sure as to what would happen when i inserted the first one I have printed the topic "how to create an image file from a disk using imgburn" so i understand how you would do that. I was just a bit confused by the artical http://forum.imgburn...?showtopic=1778
