What is the best brand for burning image file to CD?

And what would i choose? -r or +r?

what is really the difference between +r and -r?

I notice now that sony-r SUCKS!. It takes time to open burned files! because the default in burning speed is 16X speed. Even changing to 4X speed it will burn to 16X.

Somehow I think you mean DVD instead of CD.

One of the best brand is Verbatim. Avoid those made in China.

Today not much difference between the - and +. Older player seems to like - better.

because the default in burning speed is 16X speed. Even changing to 4X speed it will burn to 16X.

Sounds odd. Post a log of such a burn.

Its CD not Dvd.

Im saving my Downloaded software to burn it. I feel not safe to back up Installer in HD.

What i mean even changing burn speed in Image burn to 4X speed.. When burning im seing max 16X. This only happens in Sony CD-R. I test none brand CD and its 4X speed burning.

How can i find my burn log earlier? or should i burn again to post the log here?

This is none topic.

Tnx for the info about Verbatim brand. My Dvd verbatim is made in Taiwan check now.

The first log shows that the lowest speed your burner supports with that media is 16x. The cheap ones are supported with the lowest speed 4x.

The available speeds are in the (Speeds: xxxxxx).

If you select a speed that is not supported, ImgBurn will select the one that is closest to your choice.

Actually im confuse with the 2nd log.

I dunno that the cheap one was DVD with no product name? maybe the vendor suddenly give me wrong disc?

Tnx for the help.

Now i know how to identify support speed.

But I post this topic here to ask what is the best CD brand?

I know for DVD is Verbatim.
