jiB Posted February 18, 2010 Share Posted February 18, 2010 Hey When i try to burn a iso onto a normal cd i get this error. any other type of medium works fine. i can read and burn dvds. i am not sure if i can read normal cds because i dont have any to test it with my drive is a ATAPI DVD A DH20A4P and i do have the latest firmware installed i tryed to burn the iso with alcohol 120% first and while it was running though that my pc crashed. it did not blue screen or anything like that, it just stopped responding. I am running windows 7 here is my log I 17:48:35 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 18, 2010 Share Posted February 18, 2010 Get some Taiyo Yuden CDs or try to find a CD-ROM disc - data, audio, it doesn't really matter. See if it can recognise those ok. If it can't, try a cleaning disc in the drive - better make sure it's a DVD one! If it still doesn't work, get yourself a new drive. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
