creating iso file from m2ts

i had the previous version (2.5.0), and i had extracted a couple of my own blu ray movies into folders. i used IMGburn to build a ISO file from a certain .m2ts file, then burn it to blu ray with my Blu Ray burner. the first 2 i made were excellent, the next 4 were wasted discs. blu ray discs are not cheap by any means. so i am curious to the settings in IMGburn such as under the option tab how you put the Data Type, file System, & UDF revision. i need to know the exact settings so i do not keep wasting blank blu rays with this program. i have heard great things about this program, and had success until the failures. 4 in a row. i just want them to play back in my PS3 so i can watch them in my living room instead of computer.

so can someone tell me what my settings exactly need to be under each tab.

i use AnyDVD HD to rip my blu rays. then i go to the stream folder and pick the certain .m2ts file i need for the movie and build a .ISO file from it. from there i try to burn it to a blank BLU RAY. it always burns, but the last 4 i said that did not work, on the PS3 they say "unsupported data"?

i could really use your guys help. i am just making back ups of my blu rays in case something happens to them i have extras. is there something i am doing wrong?

one question, from the rip i have of my blu ray, i build(create) an image from the file/folder correct? from there i write the image (.ISO) to disc (BLU RAY) correct?

i also need my "Image Options" to be correct for burning a BLU RAY image file. what should my "data type" be? what should my "file system" be? and what should my UDF revision" be? all set for blu ray, nothing else.

your program was the first one to actually build me a blu ray that would play on my PS3 and my blu ray player. this is what i am after. playable blu ray discs.

please help!!!!!!

When you build a Blu-ray Video disc/image, ImgBurn sets the settings as they should be so I doubt that's the reason for the playback issues.

Can you post a log of one of those non playing discs?

i just want to take IMGburn and use a rip of BLU RAY, and put it on a 25gb blank BLU RAY disc. can you provide me with the steps?

i know which .m2ts file i need from the stream folder, but i am failing every time. so if you were in my case, you have your complete Blu Ray rip on your desktop, you have IMGburn open ready to go, and you already know that you do not have enough room to burn the whole disc on a 25gb, so you just want to extract the movie (which is the .m2ts file i have) and pick it out. from here is where i am lost. what would you do to build this onto a blank 25gb blu ray that will play on a blu ray player or ps3?

if the admin(mod) can put some illustrates up or some step by step instructions i will give them a try. i know your product works, im just having some problems. i would very much like yor help, thank you!

Sorry, it's not something I've had reason to do (and therefore I know nothing about it).

If the PS3 supports playing back raw m2ts files then I'd expect it to just work however you burn the file.

If it wants a proper AVCHD / BD structure then you'll need to feed that m2ts file into something like MultiAVCHD so it can create one - then burn what it creates.
