Jtsagara Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Hi to all, I am using imgburn ( 2.5.0.0 ) to build a DVD from command line with a batch file and a have a small issue, I take a db backup directly to dvd with build mode , sometimes the total bytes to be written is more than the capacity of a normal DVD for example 5,2Gb and sometimes is smaller 4,1GB so always I use dual layer disks , but if the total bytes is equal or less from normal dvd imgburn shows a dialog box and informs me that this size could be written in a normal dvd and not in dual layer disk. Is anyone knows how to override this? This procedure takes place early in the morning and I don’t want any user interaction Here is my command in batch file: "C:\Program Files\ImgBurn\ImgBurn.exe" /MODE BUILD /START /WAITFORMEDIA /NOIMAGEDETAILS /SRCLIST "D:\Batch Jobs\BackUpBurnDirs.dat" /FILESYSTEM "UDF" /UDFREVISION "1.02" /DEST D: /VERIFY NO /VOLUMELABEL "EPASSSRV_BACKUP" /SPEED MAX /COPIES 1 /PRESERVEFULLPATHNAMES YES /RECURSESUBDIRECTORIES YES /LOG "D:\Batch Jobs\Logs\BackUpToDVD.Log" /LOGAPPEND /LOGHEADER /NOSAVESETTINGS /EJECT YES /CLOSE Thanks
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 There's no way around that at the moment I'm afraid. I will add an 'Underburning' warning option within the settings so you can disable it.

Jtsagara Posted January 17, 2011 Author Posted January 17, 2011 Hi LIGHTNING UK! , At version 2.5.2.0 you introduced the under burning option, how can i used in batch mode? I already set it in options but with the following command is ignored: "C:\Program Files\ImgBurn\ImgBurn.exe" /MODE BUILD /START /WAITFORMEDIA /NOIMAGEDETAILS /SRCLIST "D:\Batch Jobs\BackUpBurnDirs.dat" /FILESYSTEM "UDF" /UDFREVISION "1.02" /DEST D: /VERIFY NO /VOLUMELABEL "EPASSSRV_BACKUP" /SPEED MAX /COPIES 1 /PRESERVEFULLPATHNAMES YES /RECURSESUBDIRECTORIES YES /LOG "D:\Batch Jobs\Logs\BackUpToDVD.Log" /LOGAPPEND /LOGHEADER /NOSAVESETTINGS /EJECT YES /CLOSE John
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 I can't see a problem with it. That option just controls whether the program warns you that you're burning a SL sized image onto a DL sized disc.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 E 09:47:55 The image is small enough to fit onto the first layer of the current disc. That's a different option You should be on 2.5.5.0 now btw.
Jtsagara Posted January 18, 2011 Author Posted January 18, 2011 how i can overide this? ( as for version this site is ~ 400km from me so i will do the update next week ) Thanks...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 You can't. But I've just added another option to get around that prompt.
Jtsagara Posted October 27, 2011 Author Posted October 27, 2011 Lightning Uk, Have you add a related option on 2.5.6 ?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Yes. Tools -> Settings -> General -> Page 1 -> Display Warnings -> Underburning
