Hellequin Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 I installed windows 7 64bit edition. I downloaded IMGBurn 2.5.1.0, selected an image and tried to burn to a DVD. The process showed it completed fine; however the disc is still blank. My computer recognizes the disc, but shows it as blank. Any idea why IMGBurn would show it has been burned but the DVD stays blank? Thank you,

LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Blame your drive, it messed up burning the (low quality 'RITEKF1' dye) discs you're using. If the firmware doesn't fix it, invest in some better discs - Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. You could also try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc.
