Also, can someone tell me if my disc drives are even usable for this?

Here are the model numbers for them

GSA-H21N

TS-h352c/dehl

Also, if i fail a burn, is the disc ruined?

Reply's are extremely appreciated, thank you in advance for everything!

#1--> install the latest firmware (B109) for your burner --> http://fwd4.me/J5C

#2--> Buy a DVD Lens Cleaner & clean your burner with it --> http://fwd4.me/J5D

#3--> use nothing but Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R Dual Layer discs --> http://fwd4.me/J5G

#4--> what your burner can burn is found in ImgBurn --> http://fwd4.me/J5H

Updated my firmware, found out my burner is compatible ...still no dice

My dvd's are Memorex, DVD+R 8x|8.5gb|240 min, does it really make a difference if they are Verbatim?

And i didn't get around to cleaning it, but i honestly doubt that's the issue...

Any other suggestions before i resort to buying a new drive? Also, can you recommend one?

Yeah, read that again and this time pay attention as there's more information there that could help you solve your problem.

Yeah... I've done pretty much everything that thread said to do, except use those Verbatim discs. I'm just asking if there's anything else that the thread doesn't cover before i spend money again. :innocent:

So anyone have any other suggestions?

I've done pretty much everything! :(

Also, i recently found out that WMP isn't even detecting my blank CD's when i try to burn? :\ (last time i burned a cd with wmp was a few months ago)
