devouredbychaos Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Newbie here, I've been using ImgBurn for about a year now and haven't ran into this problem. I have burned several video_ts folders (which are usually concerts) with no problems whatsoever. Today though has been a different story. Usually when I select the video_ts folder I want to burn and click on calculate, the layer break box opens up. Well with this file nothing pops up. I am using a Verbatim dual layer DVD+R disc, have followed the exact steps on the guide located here, and nothing seems to work. It will burn and complete everything but when I put it in my Xbox 360 it comes up as a mixed media disc and just shows the video_ts folders and says there are no videos. Anyone have any suggestions or if I'm doing something wrong? Thanks. Here is the log as well. I 16:32:48 Operation Successfully Completed! - Duration: 00:00:04 I 16:32:48 Operation Started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Posting the full log is more useful. Does the disc actually have a VIDEO_TS folder on it? Were your source files all present and correct in the first place? Can your PC play it as a proper DVD Video disc (i.e. don't load any specific file, just let the player do it itself having pointed it at the drive)
devouredbychaos Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 Posting the full log is more useful. Does the disc actually have a VIDEO_TS folder on it? Were your source files all present and correct in the first place? Can your PC play it as a proper DVD Video disc (i.e. don't load any specific file, just let the player do it itself having pointed it at the drive) It seems the disc actually has a VIDEO_TS folder on it. My PC will not play it as a proper DVD Video disc either, all I can do is open up the folder and see the VIDEO_TS folder and its contents. All the files were present and correct, as I loaded everything the same way I have done with countless other VIDEO_TS folders and have never had this problem. Usually with all the other VIDEO_TS folders ImgBurn recognizes that I want to make a DVD Video disc, that is not working for some reason either. Seems to me that it burns it as a data disc or something and not as a DVD Video disc. And this is the full log, unless I'm not obtaining it the right way. I 15:30:36 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 I 16:32:44 Content Type: Data That isn't a DVD Video disc. Your VIDEO_TS folder needs to have a correct set of IFO/VOB/BUP files in it.
